What an AI girlfriend is (and isn't)
An AI girlfriend is a fictional character powered by a language model. You text her like you would text anyone, and she replies in her own voice. On SatinGF she is always an AI: she will say so if you ask, and no human is ever pretending to be her.
What makes the difference between a chatbot and a companion is continuity. A chatbot answers the message in front of it. A companion knows it was your sister's wedding last weekend, that you hate your commute, and that you promised to try her chili recipe.
Two ways to start
You don't have to fill in a form before you can say hi.
- ✦Meet someone: every character on Discover has a written profile, a first message and her own interests. Tap "Chat" and she becomes your own private companion.
- ✦Create someone: choose her ethnicity, body, hair, style and setting, generate a few portraits and pick her face, then give her a name, a personality and things she's into. It takes about a minute.
Memory you can see and edit
Your AI girlfriend keeps notes as you talk: facts about you, plans coming up, things that happened between you. Those memories come back naturally in later conversations. You can open "What she remembers" at any time to edit, delete or add a memory, or switch memory off entirely.
Photos and short videos
Ask her for a selfie in any outfit or place and she sends one back, with the same face every time. Any photo can become a 5-second video clip on a paid plan. Photos and clips are paid with credits, and if a generation fails you get the credits back automatically.
Private by design
Your chats, companions and media are visible only to you. You can export or delete everything from your account page. Characters are fictional adults, and the content policy forbids real people, minors and non-consensual content.
