How AI companion memory works

Language models don't remember anything on their own: each reply is generated from what the app sends them. Memory is the app's job. Here's how SatinGF does it, and what you can control.
What gets remembered
As you chat, a background step reads recent messages and writes short notes:
- ✦Facts about you (your name, job, pets, family you mention)
- ✦Upcoming events (an interview on Friday), which expire after they pass
- ✦Things that happened between you, and nicknames
- ✦A running summary of your story together
How memories come back
When you send a message, the most relevant memories are included with it, so she can bring up the interview or ask how the dog is. Important memories can be pinned so they are always included.
What is never stored
A filter keeps sensitive data out of memory, such as passwords, card numbers and similar details, even if you type them.
You are in control
Open "What she remembers" from any chat to see every memory. Edit a note, delete it, add your own, clear everything, or switch memory off for your account.
Memory and privacy
Memories are private to your account and are deleted when you delete the companion or your account.
